Engineers
At Bear Sound Services, we are lucky enough to have some of the country’s best sound and lighting engineers working for us. They can arrive at any venue with your selected rented equipment, set it up and operate it to try and make your event or show much easier. In our higher end band package, an engineer is included in the price, but if you would like one to come and operate the sound or light desks for you our prices start from £200 per engineer, but it would be easier if you contacted us to tell you exactly what you require and we can create a custom quote for you.
Setup
Whatever you are hiring from Bear Sound Services, whether it’s a small microphone or a large PA system, we try to make it as easy and straight forward as possible to set up and operate. Set up times can vary from 5 minutes up to approximately one hour depending on the equipment you are hiring. If you would like us to take care of setting up your hired equipment, we would be glad to arrange a qualified technician to deliver and set up the equipment at the required time. Delivery
Most of our hired stock is collected from our Guildford premises by the hirer, and it is then returned at the end of the hire period back to us. We are more than happy to arrange delivery for you to the required location.
If you would like your rented items delivered to you then please see our prices below, which are all taken from our Guildford GU1 premises. Please note that the prices below are per journey where delivery will count as one journey as well as collection which will count as an additional journey.
0-10 miles – £12
10-20 miles – £25
20-30 miles – £35
30-40 miles – £50
40-50 miles – £65
If the delivery location is within the London congestion zone an additional £20 will be applicable.
Surrey School Deal
If you are hiring any of our PA or lighting packages or more on behalf of any school in the highlighted area, we will deliver to you for FREE! If you are outside the area, please contact us and we’ll do our best to get you the most competitive delivery quote possible.
