Guildford Beer Festival 2018

On the 15th and 16th June, I returned to provide sound, lighting and staging for all the acts accross the three different beer festivals held on the Guildford cricket ground on Woodbridge Road. This is the third year in a row that I have worked with this local event and I always have so much fun. The musical acts ranged from solo acoustic acts, piano and drum duos, rock bands, pop bands and a 60-strong Ukulele Orchestra.

I supplied a medium sized 4m x 2m staging, a PA system suitable for up to 400 people and all the mics, DI boxes, a mixer and some lighting to assist the bands. You can hire a stage like the one I supplied to the GBF18 for only £350 per day which includes setup and delivery

I used an Allen & Heath QU16 digital desk to mix everyone and this was an exceptional choice as I could sound check, and fine tune their settings and then save the settings and recall something else which made stage management a dream. I absolutely love being involved in local events. Guildford is my home town and it is where I run my business from. I always feel proud to be assisting with my community whether its for this, or a PA for a local school. Here are a few pics from the Festival.
